AGRO4AGRI at Fruit Attraction and UPV

On October 1st, the AGRO4AGRI project was prominently featured at two key events promoting sustainable agriculture, biopesticides, and Horizon Europe innovations:

Biotech Forum at Fruit Attraction, Madrid

Hosted within the renowned Fruit Attraction fair in Madrid, AINIA’s Ana Torrejón presented AGRO4AGRI’s groundbreaking RNAi technology for biopesticides. Her talk emphasized how RNA interference enables targeted pest management solutions, increasing crop protection while reducing chemical residue – advancing the project’s commitment to safe, sustainable by design (SSbD) strategies. This appearance positioned AGRO4AGRI among the foremost biotech innovations in the European fruit and vegetable industry.

European R&D Opportunities at Technical University of Valencia (Universitat Politècnica de València)

Later that day, Kristie Tanner represented AGRO4AGRI at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), highlighting the project’s success as a Horizon Europe collaborative research initiative.

The presentation explored European funding pathways and the impact of RNAi-based biopesticides, inspiring researchers and SMEs to pursue sustainable R&D partnerships.

Looking Ahead

AGRO4AGRI’s participation in Fruit Attraction and the UPV event reinforces its commitment to advancing sustainable agriculture through cutting-edge RNAi biopesticide technology. The project continues to drive innovation aligned with Horizon Europe goals, promoting safer and more efficient crop protection solutions.
