GOOD PRACTICE #4 | Connecting Minds: A Collaborative Webinar with Sister Projects

Building Synergies Across Projects

AGRO4AGRI co-organised an inspiring webinar with sister projects to share knowledge, exchange experiences, and explore joint strategies for advancing sustainable agrochemical innovation. This initiative created a dynamic platform for collaboration and amplified the collective impact of Horizon Europe projects.

Why Collaboration Matters

EU-funded projects often tackle interconnected challenges. Working in silos risks duplication and missed opportunities. AGRO4AGRI recognised that collaboration could accelerate progress, strengthen networks, and deliver greater societal impact. The webinar was conceived as a space for dialogue, mutual learning, and joint action.

How We Made It Happen

The team began with strategic planning, identifying common themes and objectives with sister projects to ensure relevance and value for all participants. The webinar was designed as an interactive experience, combining presentations with Q&A sessions and breakout discussions to foster active engagement. AGRO4AGRI showcased its approach to Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD), stakeholder engagement, and societal readiness, while learning from others’ best practices. Finally, follow-up actions captured insights and opportunities for future collaboration, including joint dissemination activities and potential clustering initiatives.

What Changed

The webinar proved effective by increasing awareness of complementary solutions and fostering cross-project synergies. It was efficient, delivering high-value knowledge exchange in a single event without resource duplication. The initiative is sustainable, laying the groundwork for ongoing collaboration and joint activities beyond the webinar. Most importantly, it is transferable, offering a replicable model for other projects seeking to strengthen networks and amplify impact through virtual collaboration.
