AGRO4AGRI is taking a major step forward in shaping a new standard for responsible agricultural innovation by integrating the Societal Readiness Thinking Process 2.0 (SRTT 2.0) across its research activities. This approach helps researchers anticipate societal needs, align technological development with ethical expectations, and foster reflexive dialogue throughout the innovation process.

Fostering Collaborative Learning and Ethical Awareness

The implementation began with reflexive workshops, questionnaires, and ethnographic observations designed to help scientists reflect on assumptions and explore the societal implications of their work. These activities created a shared space for critical reflection, strengthening interdisciplinary learning and expanding awareness of ethical and social dimensions.

Research teams developing nano-enabled fertilizers, plant bio stimulants, and RNA‑based solutions are now integrating stakeholder perspectives more effectively and making socially informed design decisions early in the development process.
