AGRO4AGRI Workshop at 3Bs Materials Tech 2026

The AGRO4AGRI project will host a dedicated workshop titled “Pathways to Impact in Sustainable Agrochemistry: A 360° Innovation Approach from Lab to Market” on 10 April 2026, as part of the 3Bs Materials Tech 2026 Conference in Lisbon.

Focus of the Session

The session will bring together researchers, industry representatives, and policy stakeholders to discuss what it takes for biobased and sustainable agro‑innovations to transition from the laboratory to real agricultural use. Through expert presentations and two panel discussions, participants will explore practical challenges, decision‑making processes, stakeholder expectations, and the enabling conditions needed to achieve lasting impact in agriculture.

Speakers and Topics

Speakers from AINIA, CTC, SYSPRO, and OPTIMAT will present advances in nanocellulose fertiliser systems, biochar‑based nutrient delivery platforms, industrial perspectives on scaling biobased agrochemicals, and pathways to impact. This will be followed by two interactive panels addressing how sustainability frameworks translate into field‑level decisions and what barriers and opportunities shape adoption across the agricultural value chain.

Event Formation

The workshop is hosted at the Altis Grand Hotel and is open to in‑person attendees registered for the conference. Don’t forget to secure your place by registering for the 3Bs Materials Tech 2026 conference, as workshop participation requires a valid conference registration.
