SUCCESS STORY #1 | Stakeholder Engagement Strategy Begins to Deliver Impact
From groundwork to meaningful interaction
AGRO4AGRI began with a clear commitment to stakeholder engagement – not as a checkbox, but as a strategic pillar for relevance and adoption. Early in the project, the team developed a structured stakeholder mapping process to identify key actors across the agrochemical value chain, including farmers, regulators, industry representatives, and civil society organisations.
Emerging signs of success
By Month 18, this strategy has evolved into active engagement. A key milestone was the joint webinar with sister projects, which marked AGRO4AGRI’s first public-facing step in building bridges across initiatives and opening dialogue with external stakeholders. While the scope of interactions is still modest, the webinar helped the consortium begin to understand stakeholder expectations, explore potential synergies, and refine its messaging.
Though the influence of these exchanges on technical design is still unfolding, the success lies in the transition from planning to practice. AGRO4AGRI is no longer speaking about stakeholders – it is beginning to speak with them. This marks a meaningful shift toward co-creation and sets the stage for deeper engagement in the next phases of the project.
